On March 20, 2025 World Oral Health Day, the Johns Hopkins Center for Global Health and Solidarity Dental Foundation collaborated to host a “Fireside Chat” type of informal conversation webinar with Dr Brittany Seymour, Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and Dr. Hyewon Lee, Director of the Global Maternal and Child Oral Health Center at Seoul National University. The webinar was moderated by Dr. Sujay Mehta with audience engagement polling with Dr. Priyanka Gudsoorkar. The webinar served as a prequel to the 2025 Global Oral Health Symposium at Hopkins. Dr Seymour and Dr Lee were involved in the inaugural Hopkins Global Oral Health Symposium in 2023 and unable to attend the 2025 version. We were really excited to have them participate in this more informal chat. Both guests discussed their experience and insights in global projects and had pretty amazing and inspirational messages for all of us. Grateful for our guests and their ability to pivot with this idea. And thankful to the Center for Global Health for their collaboration.
